Our client is an award-winning hedge fund manager with $600m> AUM, which is growing rapidly. To further drive this success story, they are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to be based out of New York covering the US market.

The firm has a strong private banking and HNWI investor base and this role, reporting directly to the CEO, will see the successful individual look to build on the funds award winning success in driving asset growth and overall interest.

Key Responsibilities:

• To build out a pipeline and ultimately raise assets from a US investor base who have the capacity to allocate to this tried and tested strategy
• To liaise with the existing investor-base and update them with a technical understanding of the fund’s portfolio and performance
• To support and advise on the creation of technical marketing materials to share with your investor network
• To work alongside the CEO of business development to define the fundraising strategy for the business
• To attend meetings with key prospective and existing investors, and to update them on the firm’s performance and wider portfolio

Core Competencies:

• Have 5-10 year’s experience at a blue-chip hedge fund or asset manager in a business development role
• Experience covering ETF’s and UCIT’s funds
• Extensive experience liaising with a top-tier investor base
• A deep US based investor-network of prospective investors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
