  • Coopman Search and Selection is celebrating a second successful year in business.
  • Over the last 12 months, the company has expanded its team, entered international markets, developed strong network partnerships, and acquired new business.
  • The company’s success stems from a clear strategic direction, good internal culture, excellence in tailored service delivery, and growth in brand awareness.

Over the last year, the company has further expanded its compliance division to include William McCoppin, a highly experienced specialist manager in regulatory compliance, financial crime and fraud markets, and Mary Ryan, a consultant who prior to joining, led the recruitment function at a hyper-growth corporate start-up. The firm has also grown its accounting team with the addition of Christine Jones, a consultant who previously worked with an international asset management company in their middle office operations. With a highly skilled team in action, the company has experienced excellent growth both domestically and on an international scale, working with new and existing business partners across markets and continuing to build brand awareness to acquire market share.

Director Mark Fallon commented:

“Last year, we adapted our strategy and adjusted our company roadmap in response to the impact of the pandemic on the business landscape. As markets bounced back in 2021, we were well positioned to explore new opportunities and expand our offering to our network. To support this, we have built a team of experienced specialist consultants and created a strong internal culture in which our members feel supported, engaged and encouraged to progress their careers.”

Over the last 12 months, Coopman Search and Selection executed its strategy for expansion into new markets to provide a holistic, cross-jurisdictional recruitment service for internationally established companies with offices in various locations. The firm expanded it’s offering of interim management services to companies that require elite talent to drive business results but want to mitigate the risk of hiring on a permanent basis due to the pandemic. The company also achieved its first company award for the Small Business Marketing category in the Marketing Institute’s All Ireland Marketing Awards.

Director Andrew Murphy said:

By truly engaging with the people in our network, we have come to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and expectations in a current and future working world. In response, we have developed our offering to provide solutions for market distruptors through to established institutions across financial services. We aim to deliver an excellent service for our network, that is engaging and tailored to our clients and individuals. Combined with our marketing efforts to build our brand awareness, we have established new relationships and developed deeper connections with our existing business partners.”

As well as growing the business, Coopman Search and Selection is committed to transparently sharing market knowledge and generated a range of useful resources this year, including guides, reports, podcasts and articles, as well as hosting events. The team also collectively ran +1000 km through its 5K A Day Challenge in June to raise funds for its charity partner, the Irish Youth Foundation and the company planted +100 trees with its reforestation partner, One Tree Planted contributing to global projects in Spain, Iceland and Scotland.

Mark added:

“We would like to thank our team members, charity partners, business partners, clients and individuals for their continued support. We will close out 2021 with some great initiatives and we look forward to what promises to be another great year ahead.”
